WHAT IS BINDER JETTING

No melting. Binder builds the form.

Binder Jetting selectively deposits liquid binder onto thin, evenly spread powder layers. Repeating the process builds a three-dimensional geometry from image data. With no direct heat source, it scales flexibly across large parts, complex forms, and high-mix production.

POWDER BED

A thin, uniform layer of foundry sand or metal powder is spread across the build area.

IMAGE SLICE

The 3D model is converted into layer-by-layer 2D image data that defines each print area.

SELECTIVE JETTING

Binder is precisely deposited only where required by the image data.

RECOATING

A fresh powder layer is applied and the image is printed again until the 3D form is complete.
